Ignite Youth Ministry will be hosting a Sunday Funday at Cabin Lake for our whole church family April 27th. Please join us any time after 1:30 PM at the picnic pavilion and don’t forget your bug spray, fishing gear, and a chair. We will have games and music for a great afternoon of fellowship. Ignite Kids is kicking off a monthly event for kids Pre-K through 4th grade. Our first event will be “Praise & Paint” this Wednesday, April 30TH from 6-8 PM in the Sandy Plain Gym! We will have pizza for supper and will be painting, so please send your child in clothes, you don’t mind getting messy. Life Group with Tim and Rebecca Judd will be May 1st. The Thursday dates are for the Purple Class and the Friday dates are for the Forge Study.
Seniors for Christ will be attending the “Seniors Fun Day” at the Duplin Events Center on May 1st. The bus will be leaving at 8:30 AM from the church. If you have any questions, please see Marcia Jones or Deborah Mobley. Lunch will be provided at NO cost. Seniors come join the FUN.
The Men’s Fellowship is having a MAYDAY conference, “MAYDAY, MAYDAY, God Is Calling All Men to Rise Up” is on May 3rd at 5:00 PM starting in the sanctuary. This conference is for men and boys ages 13 and up. Please sign up in the foyer of the church so we will know how many to prepare meal for.
Ignite Youth is going to Summer Camp at Fort Caswell in June! We are selling 3-gallon pots of pink or red Double Knockout Roses for $25 just in time for Mother’s Day. Order and payment deadline is May 2nd, delivery date is May 7th. See any of our youth or Amanda Mercer to place your order today!

The Ladies Auxiliary of Sandy Plain will be hosting the Woman’s Auxiliary State Convention on May 8th at Sandy Plain. Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30 AM. Convention starts at 9:30 AM and ends with lunch. We would love to have all ladies join us.
Camp Vandemere Woman’s Auxiliary Retreat will be June 2nd – 5th. The cost will be $110 per person. Our theme is “Once Upon a Time” and the scripture is Isaiah 60:20. Linda Herring will be our guest speaker. Let Judith Kennedy know by May 21st if you plan to come.
